Olmsted Place Sign Refurbishment, Malaga Cove Plaza
Olmsted Place in Malaga Cove was established on February 8, 2000 in appreciation of Frederick Law Olmsted, Jr. and his contribution to the landscape beauty of our City. He was the son of the Central Park architect Frederick Law Olmsted. Olmsted Jr. was a nationally recognized landscape architect. In the South Bay, he designed the downtown Torrance open space as well as the Malaga Cove Plaza area in Palos Verdes Estates.
This has been a popular place for people to gather before going on a run or bike ride. It adds green beauty to a busy section of our City.
